2. Information We Collect & How We Collect It
- Account & Profile Data: When you register as a user or vendor, we store the personal information you provide in your user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
- Listing Data (Vendors): We collect your business name, contact numbers, social media handles, and postal codes to display on our directory map. In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Singapore, your exact unit number is not required; postal codes are utilized primarily for radius search functionality (“Near Me” filters).
- Comments: When visitors leave comments or reviews on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection. An anonymized string (hash) created from your email may be provided to the Gravatar service (
[https://automattic.com/privacy/](https://automattic.com/privacy/)) to see if you use it.
- Media: If you upload images to the website (such as logos or storefront banners), you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can potentially download and extract location data from images on the website.

- Logins: If you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies (contains no personal data, discarded when closed). When you log in, we set up several cookies to save your login information (lasts 2 days) and screen choices (lasts 1 year). Selecting “Remember Me” extends your login to 2 weeks. Logging out removes these cookies.
- Comments & Edits: If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name, email, and website in cookies for your convenience (lasts 1 year). If you edit or publish a listing, an additional cookie indicating the post ID is saved (expires after 1 day).
4. Embedded Content & Third-Party Services
- Embedded Media: Content on this site may include embedded elements (e.g., videos, maps, images). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website directly. These sites may collect data, use cookies, and track interactions.
- Mapping Services: Our directory platform utilizes Voxel and Google Maps API to provide geographical mapping. By using this site, you also agree to be bound by Google’s Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal analytical data to third-party advertisers.
5. Data Sharing & Retention
- Data Sharing: We do not sell your data. However, if you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
- Data Retention: If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. For registered vendors and users, account profile data is retained as long as the account remains active.
6. Your Rights Over Your Data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments/reviews, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
